AVA supplies vertical and horizontal sterilizers which can be operated both in batch mode or continuously.
The range of applications supported by AVA sterilizers covers anything from sanitation of infectious waste through to high-quality food sterilization. Processing with the AVA sterilizer generally takes place in batches. After the product has been filled, the air is first evacuated from the system and then the product is heated to the required temperature by adding steam directly into the product chamber. After a short holding time, rapid steam expansion takes place with subsequent evacuation. This results in a finished, sterilized product with a total bacteria count of <<10³ CFU/g. The product is discharged from the AVA sterilizer with the same moisture or, if desired, with a reduced residual moisture.
